Role overview
Published via Mainder
Ailin Health is the certified infrastructure behind population-scale presymptomatic disease screening across Europe. We’re EBITDA-positive, hold a national screening contract in France, and partner with companies like Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim. We’re now raising our priced round, and the founder/CEO is looking for a sharp, organized intern to sit at the center of that process. This is not a coffee-and-notes role. You’ll build the research and operational backbone that lets us run a tight, fast, credible raise. You’ll work directly with the CEO, see exactly how a venture round gets structured and closed, and leave with a rare front-row understanding of healthtech fundraising that almost no intern gets access to.
Logistics: Based in Madrid is preferred, but a hybrid arrangement works for the right person.
What you’ll actually do:
Investor research & mapping. Profile target funds and partners (thesis fit, portfolio conflicts, check size, stage, recent deals) and turn it into clear, decision-ready briefs before each meeting.
CRM ownership. Keep our investor CRM (Notion) clean, current, and trustworthy: log every touchpoint, track stages, flag follow-ups, and make sure nothing slips.
Materials support. Help assemble and version-control the data room, format and proof investor-facing documents, and prep supporting materials (one-pagers, FAQs, meeting decks) under direction.
Meeting prep & follow-up. Build pre-meeting briefs, draft post-meeting summaries and follow-up trackers, and keep the pipeline moving on schedule.
Competitive & market intelligence. Pull together comparable companies, financing benchmarks, and market data points that strengthen our positioning.
Process hygiene. Maintain the fundraising calendar, coordinate scheduling across investors and internal stakeholders, and keep the workflow organized end to end.
You’ll be a fit if you:
Are obsessively organized and accurate. You treat a messy CRM or a typo in an investor doc as unacceptable.
Write clearly and concisely in English (Spanish a plus).
Are comfortable with research and synthesis. You can take a wall of information and produce the three things that matter.
Are studying or recently finished business, finance, economics, life sciences, or similar, and are curious about healthcare, diagnostics, or venture.
Handle confidential information with discretion. Most of what you’ll see is sensitive.
Nice to have: familiarity with Notion, prior exposure to startups/VC/consulting, interest in health or biotech.
