The Deputy Service Office Manager supports the effective operation of the holiday rental service office in Albufeira. This role combines team leadership, operational coordination and customer communication to help maintain high service standards, support local activities and contribute to a positive guest and owner experience.
This is a permanent, on-site position based in Albufeira, Portugal.
Ensure the overall operational and administrative performance of the office.
Supervise and coordinate the team responsible for owner relations, guest services and daily operations.
Support and collaborate with the team in all key functions whenever necessary, ensuring service continuity and operational excellence.
Monitor office workflows, processes and quality standards, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ensure achievement of revenue, occupancy and service quality targets.
Identify opportunities to grow and expand our property portfolio.
Supervise product and service quality for both property owners and guests.
Coordinate external partners: cleaning services, maintenance, technicians, etc.
Handle incidents, complaints and claims efficiently and professionally.
Lead, motivate and develop the team, fostering a collaborative and customer-oriented culture.
Expert-level leadership and team management skills.
Expert-level communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
Experience working in a customer-focused, operational or hospitality environment is valued.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A collaborative, solution-oriented approach and confidence working independently.
Availability to work on-site in Albufeira.

Background in Tourism, Business Management, or similar.
Previous experience in holiday rentals, real estate, or the tourism sector.
Strong leadership, planning, and commercial skills.
Fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German are a plus).
Proactive and independent, with a true passion for administration and customer service.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills – you’ll be the key point of contact for our property owners.
Confident using digital tools: Microsoft Office is a must; SAP knowledge is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure, staying calm and making smart decisions.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
