We are looking for a QA Automation Lead to drive quality engineering initiatives and lead automation strategy across complex, multi-platform environments.
In this role, you will combine hands-on technical execution with leadership responsibilities, helping build automation frameworks from scratch while guiding teams and defining best practices. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure high-quality releases across web, mobile, cloud, and IoT platforms. This is a unique opportunity to shape quality strategy in a highly innovative environment.
Lead test strategy, planning, and execution across multiple platforms.
Design and build automation frameworks and platforms from scratch.
Develop automation across web, mobile, backend, and API layers.
Mentor and guide QA engineers, promoting best practices and technical growth.
Define quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
Identify risk areas and prioritize testing efforts.
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance and release criteria.
Manage test cycles, defect triage, and release readiness.
Ensure end-to-end quality across IoT devices, mobile apps, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Must Have
8+ years of experience in QA / Quality Engineering.
Strong experience leading test strategy and automation initiatives.
Strong hands-on coding experience in Python (required).
Experience with Playwright (web automation).
Experience with Appium (mobile automation).
Experience with Pytest and API/backend testing.
Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience across web, mobile, backend, and API testing.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Buildkite, etc.).
Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with IoT devices or hardware testing.
Experience with AWS environments.
Familiarity with observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing).
Experience with AI/ML feature validation.
Experience working with device farms or hardware labs.
