At Staffy, we are looking for a Senior UI Engineer with strong expertise in React.js to join a fast-growing technology team focused on building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to develop complex user interfaces and deliver exceptional user experiences across digital products. You will contribute to architectural decisions, frontend scalability, performance optimization, and overall engineering quality while collaborating in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong frontend engineering fundamentals with modern React expertise, product-oriented thinking, and the ability to contribute independently while mentoring other engineers.
Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance UI applications using React.js.
Build reusable components and modern frontend architectures.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into functional user experiences.
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and frontend scalability.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues efficiently.
Contribute to architectural decisions and frontend best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.
Stay up to date with modern frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
5+ years of experience in frontend or web development.
3+ years of hands-on experience working with React.js.
Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong understanding of React concepts including hooks, functional components, and state management.
Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
Experience working with TypeScript.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend workflows.
Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and frontend performance optimization skills.
Experience collaborating with product and UX/UI teams.
Experience with React Native or Next.js.
Understanding of accessibility (a11y) best practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
