MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for the development and expansion of sales of corn grits, corn flour, and corn processing by-products in international markets. This is a fully remote position and can be performed from any location; however, fluency in Ukrainian is mandatory, as the role involves exporting products from Ukraine and working closely with Ukrainian stakeholders. A high level of English is also essential.
The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in European markets (Baltic countries, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria), the Balkan region, and selected African markets. The Sales Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, develop and manage relationships with distributors and key clients, and contribute to the execution of the international sales and growth strategy in a multicultural and export-driven environment.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Active search and acquisition of new customers in export markets
Development of sales of corn grits, corn flour, and by-products
Market analysis, competitor analysis, and evaluation of potential in new countries
Conduct negotiations with clients and partners
Preparation of commercial offers and contract support
Building long-term partnerships with customers
Coordination with logistics, production, and quality departments
Control of accounts receivable
Monitoring trends in grain processing and feed/food industries
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in B2B sales or export business development
Experience in grain processing, food, or agricultural industries will be an advantage
Existing customer/contact base will be considered an advantage
Understanding of export processes and international trade
Experience in negotiations with international clients
English language C1 level or higher
Willingness to travel and participate in international exhibitions
Confident user of MS Office and CRM systems
