At Staffy, we're looking for a Senior Python Developer to join an international consulting project focused on building modern digital solutions for enterprise clients.
In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and evolve scalable web applications, integrations, and automation solutions while leveraging modern AI-assisted development practices. We're looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong consulting mindset, capable of solving complex technical challenges, mentoring teammates, and delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining software engineering best practices with Generative AI tools, modern cloud technologies, and enterprise-grade application development.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications for enterprise clients.
Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party platform SDKs.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar LLM-based solutions to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
Design effective prompts and workflows to automate development tasks and accelerate delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical documentation, and solution design.
Develop automated tests, ensuring code quality through unit, integration, and TDD practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery processes.
Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
5–7 years of professional experience developing applications with Python.
At least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring development teams.
Hands-on experience using Claude (Anthropic), GitHub Copilot, or similar LLM-powered development tools as part of daily software development.
Practical experience with prompt engineering for software development and automation use cases.
Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
Solid knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with evolving requirements.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Travis CI.
Professional-level English communication skills.
Experience with MarTech platforms such as Veeva Vault, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Workfront, or DAM/PIM solutions.
Experience working with content supply chain or omnichannel marketing technologies.
Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Pandas, PySpark, or Apache Airflow.
Experience integrating LLM APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Hugging Face.
Experience working within Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of validated environments such as GxP or 21 CFR Part 11.
