We're seeking for a Senior/Lead Sitecore Backend Developer to join a team responsible for building and evolving enterprise-scale digital experience platforms within a leading retail and digital commerce environment.
This role focuses on designing, developing, and modernizing backend solutions across the Sitecore ecosystem, leveraging Sitecore XM Cloud, composable architectures, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise integrations. You will play a key role in enabling scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences while supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines deep Sitecore expertise, strong backend engineering skills, and experience delivering enterprise solutions in cloud-native environments. As a senior technical contributor, you will collaborate closely with architects, product teams, and engineering leadership while helping drive technical excellence across the platform.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise digital experience solutions using Sitecore XM Cloud and the broader Sitecore composable ecosystem.
Lead backend development initiatives using .NET and C#.
Design and implement integrations between Sitecore and enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, CDP, DAM, PIM, marketing automation, and eCommerce systems.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations.
Support headless and composable architectures leveraging Sitecore JSS, Experience Edge, and modern frontend frameworks.
Collaborate with architects to define cloud-native architectures and integration patterns.
Implement best practices around scalability, security, performance, observability, and reliability.
Support migration and modernization initiatives from traditional Sitecore implementations to XM Cloud and composable DXP solutions.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
6+ years of hands-on Sitecore development experience.
Strong experience with:
Sitecore XM Cloud
Sitecore XP/XM (v9, v10.x)
Sitecore Headless Services
Sitecore Experience Edge
Sitecore JSS
Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS)
Experience designing and implementing headless and composable Sitecore architectures.
Familiarity with Sitecore Search, Sitecore Personalize, Sitecore CDP, Sitecore Connect, and AI-driven personalization capabilities.

Microservices architectures
Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, API Management, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
Experience designing cloud-native architectures.
Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven solutions.
Experience integrating Sitecore with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, SAP, Adobe products, DAM, PIM, and marketing automation solutions.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Git.
Understanding of deployment automation and modern software delivery practices.
Strong background in solution architecture, cloud-native development, and enterprise integrations.
Proven experience leading technical initiatives and enterprise implementations.
Experience working directly with stakeholders, architects, product owners, and business leaders.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Sitecore XM Cloud Developer Certification.
Sitecore Certified Professional Developer certification.
Microsoft Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with automated testing and deployment strategies.
