At Staffy we're seeking for an Sys Admin to support critical production operations across enterprise infrastructure environments.
This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting workload orchestration, monitoring, file transfer services, and access management processes that enable the reliable execution of business-critical workflows. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure production jobs run successfully, monitoring remains effective, and infrastructure services are secure, stable, and properly maintained.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational troubleshooting skills with experience supporting enterprise scheduling platforms, monitoring solutions, and file services in production environments.
Operate and support production workload orchestration and file movement processes.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot jobs using Control-M or similar enterprise scheduling platforms.
Support workflows involving SharePoint, Azure Files (SMB), SFTP endpoints, and API integrations.
Monitor production environments and respond to alerts generated through Azure Monitor.
Investigate operational incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Create, maintain, and optimize monitoring, alerting, and observability configurations.
Administer file shares and manage access controls using NTFS permissions, Active Directory, and Entra ID groups.
Troubleshoot access-related issues, permission inheritance, and group membership propagation delays.
Support workload promotion and validation across Development, Test, Stage, and Production environments.
Follow operational runbooks and contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience supporting production infrastructure and operational workloads.
Strong troubleshooting skills across scheduling, monitoring, file services, and access management.
Ability to work independently and manage operational issues with minimal supervision.
Hands-on experience with BMC Control-M or similar enterprise scheduling platforms (Autosys, Tidal, or equivalent).
Experience building, supporting, and troubleshooting scheduled jobs and workflow dependencies.
Strong understanding of:
Job logs and troubleshooting.
Dependency management.
Retry and failure handling strategies.
Time-based, event-based, and dependency-driven scheduling.
Understanding of environment management across Development, Test, Stage, and Production.
Experience with Azure Monitor, including:
Log Analytics.
Metrics and alerting.
Monitoring configuration and maintenance.
Incident investigation and troubleshooting.
Ability to correlate alerts with underlying infrastructure or application failures.
Experience using logs and telemetry for root cause analysis.
Experience administering Azure Files (SMB).
Strong understanding of Windows NTFS permissions.
Experience managing access through Active Directory and Entra ID groups.
Ability to troubleshoot permission inheritance and access propagation issues.
Experience with Datadog.
Experience with PGP key lifecycle management, including generation, distribution, rotation, and expiration.
Experience working with enterprise file transfer solutions and secure data exchange processes.
