At Staffy, we are looking for a C++ Developer to join the core engineering team behind a high-performance trading platform operating in demanding fintech environments.
This role is focused on the evolution and modernization of a mission-critical platform handling real-time APIs, low-latency execution, and extremely high transaction volumes. The environment requires strong systems-level thinking, deep understanding of performance optimization, and the ability to work on resilient, highly available architectures where stability and efficiency are critical.
We are looking for an engineer capable not only of writing high-quality code, but also of driving technical decisions, guiding AI-assisted development workflows, and operating effectively in complex enterprise environments with strict security and infrastructure constraints.
Experience in fintech or trading environments is mandatory.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance components for a real-time trading platform.
Build and optimize low-latency APIs and backend services handling high transaction volumes.
Participate in the modernization of legacy MFC-based interfaces using WebView2 integrations.
Contribute to the migration of 40+ legacy MFC dialogs into modernized UI components.
Analyze and optimize memory utilization, concurrency, resiliency, and runtime performance.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and operational stability across critical platform services.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve scalability, performance, and platform reliability.
Perform AI-assisted development workflows, ensuring code quality and architectural consistency.
Participate in architectural discussions, technical reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex production issues in latency-sensitive environments.
Work within highly secure environments where source code and systems cannot rely on public cloud infrastructure.
7+ years of professional experience with C++ development.
Strong expertise with C++17.
Proven experience working with MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes).
Experience building systems with real-time APIs and low-latency architectures.
Previous experience in fintech, trading platforms, capital markets, or high-frequency transaction environments.
Strong understanding of:
Memory management and optimization
Multithreading and concurrency
High availability and resiliency patterns
Performance tuning in high-throughput systems
Experience handling high-volume transactional platforms (millions of orders/events).
Experience working on legacy modernization initiatives.
Ability to operate autonomously in highly critical technical environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
English level B2+/C1.
Experience with WebView2 integrations.
Experience modernizing large-scale desktop applications.
Familiarity with secure enterprise environments with strict infrastructure restrictions.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a senior technical reference.
