We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact project with a long-standing strategic client focused on building scalable, cloud-native data platforms for global organizations across industries such as healthcare, fintech, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
In this role, you will work on complex data ecosystems combining data engineering, machine learning, cloud technologies, and distributed systems. You'll play a key role designing large-scale pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and collaborating directly with stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions. We are looking for a highly senior profile with strong ownership, technical depth, and the ability to operate in client-facing environments.
Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines across structured and unstructured data sources.
Develop large-scale processing workflows using PySpark, Scala, and cloud-based data services.
Build and maintain data integration solutions using AWS and Azure ecosystems.
Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive solutions.
Design data warehouse and analytical environments for enterprise-scale platforms.
Develop backend services and APIs using Python-based frameworks.
Apply DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies to improve delivery and reliability.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, and Proof of Concept initiatives.
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence across teams.
Collaborate directly with international stakeholders and client teams.
7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong Python expertise.
Experience with PySpark and Scala for distributed data processing.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, Lambda, S3, EC2, and Redshift.
Experience with Azure Data Factory.
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
Experience with Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
Experience developing APIs using Flask, FastAPI, Django, or Node.js.
Advanced English level (B2+/C1).
