    About the role

    At Staffy, we are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in Veeva Vault and enterprise marketing technology ecosystems to join a global, high-impact platform team supporting large-scale content and digital operations within the pharmaceutical industry.

    In this role, you will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping drive platform evolution, requirement definition, and scalable solution delivery across complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze existing Veeva Vault configurations, lead discovery and requirement gathering sessions, and translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables.

    This position requires a highly consultative and analytical profile, capable of confidently engaging with senior stakeholders, driving alignment, and collaborating closely with developers, architects, QA teams, and product partners in Agile environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement gathering activities with business stakeholders.

    • Analyze existing Veeva Vault configurations and platform capabilities to define scalable solutions.

    • Translate business requirements into well-structured user stories, epics, and technical documentation.

    • Manage and groom backlogs in Jira, ensuring stories are properly scoped, prioritized, and sprint-ready.

    • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and product stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

    • Analyze system integrations, APIs, data flows, and platform dependencies.

    • Support solution design discussions and help define functional and non-functional requirements.

    • Coordinate UAT activities, test scenarios, and defect triage processes.

    • Create and maintain process flows, data mappings, BRDs, decision logs, and technical documentation.

    • Track risks, blockers, dependencies, and delivery progress across workstreams.

    • Maintain organized documentation and collaboration spaces using Jira and Confluence.

    Requirements

    Experience & Technical Skills

    • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in enterprise technology environments.

    • Strong experience with Veeva Vault platforms such as PromoMats, MedComms, or QualityDocs.

    • Experience working within Agile/Scrum software delivery environments.

    • Advanced Jira experience, including user story creation, backlog management, epics, workflows, and sprint tracking.

    • Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data models, and enterprise platform architectures.

    • Experience creating technical and functional documentation, process flows, and data mapping specifications.

    • Familiarity with enterprise content management and omnichannel marketing ecosystems.

    • Experience using Confluence or similar collaboration/documentation tools.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Nice to have

    • Experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.

    • Familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Workfront, Salesforce, or DAM solutions.

    • Knowledge of regulated environments and compliance frameworks such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, or CSV.

    • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or SAFe.

    • Experience supporting AI/GenAI-driven tools or enterprise automation initiatives.
