About the Role
At Staffy, we are looking for a Senior Investment Business Analyst (Aladdin SME) to join a high-impact initiative focused on investment data mapping and systems reconciliation.
In this role, you will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, bringing deep expertise in BlackRock Aladdin to drive alignment, clarity, and execution.
You will play a critical role in understanding complex investment workflows, mapping data across multiple systems, and ensuring consistency and accuracy across the investment lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and can drive delivery with a high level of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BlackRock Aladdin across the project
Analyze and document investment workflows, data lineage, and system interactions
Lead the mapping of security master data across Aladdin and other investment platforms
Translate business needs into functional requirements, specifications, and user stories
Create data flow diagrams and solution documentation
Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, milestones, and success criteria
Support Agile ceremonies and help drive delivery across workstreams
Collaborate with distributed (onshore/offshore) development teams
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and gap analysis using SQL
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin
Strong understanding of investment management workflows and operations
Experience working with security master data and reconciliations
Solid background as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
Experience creating process flows and data lineage diagrams
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Ability to operate with high autonomy and drive initiatives forward
