About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing, AI-driven product company transforming the restaurant industry in the U.S.
The company builds highly customizable voice AI solutions for restaurant chains, deeply adapting its platform to each client’s brand and operations. By combining advanced AI with strong personalization and hands-on delivery, it is redefining how restaurants manage reservations and customer interactions.
In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining integrations with major reservation platforms, while contributing to the reliability and scalability of the core platform. You will also play a key role in evolving backend systems that support real-time, AI-driven voice interactions.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms using REST APIs and webhooks.
Design and develop backend services using Node.js or Python.
Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability.
Work with event-driven architectures and real-time data flows.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and system issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
Contribute to improving backend architecture and development practices.
Requirements
Technical Experience & Skills
1–5 years of experience in backend development.
Experience with Node.js or Python in production environments.
Strong experience working with REST APIs and webhooks.
Experience building and maintaining integrations between systems.
Familiarity with scalable architectures and backend best practices.
Experience using Git and working with version control workflows.
Other
Active GitHub with personal or open-source projects is highly valued.
Startup or SaaS background is a plus.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership.
Languages
Intermediate to advanced English.
