At Staffy, we are looking for a Java Developer to join a strategic global initiative within the Content Supply Chain (CSC) team.
This team is focused on building an optimized and integrated content creation ecosystem by consolidating legacy systems into a standardized platform that combines Adobe, Veeva, and Life Sciences Cloud solutions. The goal is to enable marketing and agency teams to create content faster, more efficiently, and at scale.
In this role, you will contribute to high-impact initiatives involving system integrations, custom applications, and microservices, working across distributed teams (onshore and offshore). This is a great opportunity to be part of a modernization journey and work in a complex, evolving environment.
Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based services and utilities supporting operational workflows (e.g., onboarding, request processing, environment tasks).
Execute migration of utilities from .NET to Java and perform refactoring to improve maintainability and performance.
Support platform modernization efforts, including updates related to Splunk to Kafka migrations.
Ensure utilities are properly documented and aligned with CMDB governance standards.
Collaborate with Vault configuration and release teams to align utility behavior with evolving platform capabilities.
Support release execution by troubleshooting issues, partnering with QA, and ensuring deployment readiness.
Analyze logs and perform controlled validations to ensure system stability and successful releases.
Contribute to operational readiness by creating and maintaining runbooks, scripts, and support procedures.
Must Have
3–6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Experience building and maintaining services/utilities, including refactoring and modernization.
Experience migrating legacy technologies (e.g., .NET to Java).
Familiarity with event/logging pipelines such as Splunk, Kafka, or similar.
Strong troubleshooting skills using logs and validation techniques.
Experience working in cross-functional environments with QA, development, and release teams.
Nice to Have
Experience working with Veeva or similar platforms.
Knowledge of microservices and distributed architectures.
Familiarity with release management processes in complex environments.
